Job summary

Invitation Homes seeks a Maintenance Technician II to perform high-quality maintenance across multiple trades in single-family rental homes, delivering outstanding resident service. You will conduct ProCare visits, educate residents on home systems, and work within safety guidelines to keep homes in top condition.

Role requires a high school diploma, OSHA-10, and 2–5+ years in residential maintenance. Proficiency with mobile apps and driving license are expected; benefits include bonus

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5+ years’ experience in residential repairs and maintenance.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• EPA Certification: Type I, Type II, and/or EPA Universal is a plus.
• HVAC Certification is a plus.
• CPO certification (pool) is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; multilingual is a plus.
• Comfortable using mobile devices and maintenance apps.
• Knowledge of residential construction and systems; minor HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry work possible.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance across multiple trades in single-family homes.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote a quality living experience for residents.
• Complete ProCare visits and follow the maintenance app workflow.
• Educate residents on maintenance topics and home systems.
• Complete property condition assessments and alert management for urgent items.
• Review reports to identify improvement opportunities.
• Perform repairs in vacant properties during turnover.
• Use company tools, materials, and vehicles properly.
• Review next day appointments to ensure readiness for single-visit completions.
