Job summary

Vivmark Residential seeks a Maintenance Technician II to enhance our apartment communities in Cerritos, CA. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and major appliances, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure high-quality living environments for residents.

The role requires 2–3 years of maintenance experience, a valid drivers license, and the ability to participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in maintenance work including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
• Valid drivers license is required.
• Ability to accommodate an on-call schedule in rotation with the team each month.
• Ability to communicate with team members and residents for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and safety systems.
• Completes service requests and repairs per standards and in a timely manner.
• Ensures vacant apartments are rent-ready and performs turnkey work as needed.
• Conducts apartment preventative maintenance.
• Assists in painting interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintains safety culture and reports unsafe conditions and nonfunctioning equipment.
• Performs hot works including brazing, soldering, and welding within company standards.
