Job summary

Vivmark Residential in Dublin, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our team. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues to keep our community well-maintained and residents satisfied.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work on-call shifts. You’ll contribute to preventative maintenance and safe operation across the property while upholding Vivmark’s standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to participate in an on-call schedule monthly.
• Ability to communicate with team members and residents.
• Ability to read and understand policies and procedures including SDS.
• Knowledge of PPE and safe chemical handling.
• Basic understanding of emergency systems and shutoffs.
• Knowledge of paint types and paint tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware, masonry, painting/wallpaper, water features, and waste management systems.
• Completes assigned service requests and repairs in a timely manner per standards.
• Ensures vacant apartment homes are rent-ready promptly.
• Performs Preventative Maintenance.
• Assists in painting interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintains a safety culture by following Vivmark policies and reporting hazards.
• Performs hot works (brazing, soldering, welding) per standards.
