Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Dublin, CA to maintain apartment homes and support residents with timely repairs. The role requires 2–3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience including HVAC repair, plumbing, electrical and general maintenance work.
• A valid driver’s license.
• On-call schedule rotation with the team each month.
• Ability to communicate with team members and residents for customer service.
• Ability to read and understand policies including Key Control Policy, Apartment Home Turnover Policy and Maintenance Emergency policies.
• Ability to identify cleaning and chemical supplies and read SDS; handle chemicals and cleaning supplies safely.
• Knowledge of PPE and its proper use.
• Basic understanding of emergency systems, shutoffs and operations.
• Knowledge of paint types and paint tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware, masonry, painting, water features, and waste management systems.
• Completes assigned service requests and repairs in a timely manner.
• Ensures vacant apartment homes are rent-ready promptly.
• Performs turnkey work as required.
• Conducts apartment preventative maintenance.
• Assists in interior and exterior painting.
• Maintains safety culture by following Vivmark safety policies and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Performs hot works including brazing, soldering, and welding.
