Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Haven Reston in Reston, VA. You will perform technical and mechanical tasks to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, preventive maintenance, make-ready inspections, inventory control, and coordinating with vendors. OSHA training, safety compliance, and flexible hours are required; EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal are required.
• State and local certifications as required for all service technicians.
• A valid driver's license may be required to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair building systems from resident service requests and preventive maintenance.
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant apartments, including inspections and punch lists.
• Track inventory, obtain materials, and coordinate with vendors and maintenance supervisor.
