Job summary

Greystar in Virginia Beach is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work on buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and full functionality while responding to resident service requests.

You will diagnose issues, complete make-ready tasks for new move-ins, manage inventory, coordinate with vendors, and uphold OSHA safety standards. A strong work ethic and flexibility for evenings/weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1, Type II, or Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf carts on property.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Make-ready processes for vacant apartments and inspect pre-move-out punch lists.
• Track materials, manage inventory, and coordinate purchases with maintenance supervisor.
• Document service requests clearly and accurately for records and reporting.
• Assist with grounds, common areas, and amenities maintenance and safety compliance.
