Job summary

Greystar is seeking aMaintenance Technician to ensure building systems and grounds meet safety and quality standards. The role involves diagnosing resident-reported issues, performing repairs, and managing make-ready tasks for new move-ins.

Responsibilities include inventory management, coordination with vendors, and routine property inspections. A valid driver's license, EPA refrigerant certification, and 2+ years’ experience are required for this onsite position in a busy property environment.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 2 years in property maintenance or related trade.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant certification may be required.
• Must have valid driver's license and ability to operate maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair building issues per policy and safety standards.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units and inspect completed work.
• Access materials and track inventory, coordinating with maintenance supervisor for re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and records.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts instead of replacing when feasible.
