Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to ensure the physical integrity and safety of our properties. You will perform maintenance tasks, accept and complete work orders, and support make-ready processes for vacant units.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, maintaining grounds and common areas, managing inventory, and documenting work promptly. The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver's license; on-site work and flexible hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Preventive maintenance and diagnostic skills.
• Clear communication with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairs.
• Makes-ready process for vacant units including inspections and scheduling tasks.
• Manages inventory, tracks materials, and notifies about re-orders.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and follow-up.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; assists with painting and cleaning as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts where possible.
