Job summary

Greystar seeks a Maintenance Supervisor at Haven Reston to oversee and perform mechanical work, respond to resident service requests, and supervise make-ready tasks for leasing-ready homes. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency in maintaining community grounds and interiors.

Responsibilities include coordinating vendors, inspecting work, and assisting the Community Manager with budget planning and preventative maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools unless prohibited by state law; safe use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets and databases.

Responsibilities

• Address resident service requests and routine maintenance.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant units and punch lists.
• Schedule vendors/contractors and order supplies within budget.
• Inspect work for quality and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain inventory and assist in budget development for repairs.
