Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep the property's buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas clean, safe, and functional. You’ll diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and complete work orders to meet company standards.

Applicants should hold EPA refrigerant certifications, have a valid driver's license, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and emergencies as part of a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on maintenance experience and ability to diagnose and repair building systems.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to OSHA guidelines and company policies.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and perform preventative maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on property by diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies and code requirements.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections and scheduling needed repairs.
• Tracks inventory, supplies, and equipment usage; returns unused items and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents work completed and maintains accurate records for service requests.
