Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of a property meet company standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. The role supports preventative maintenance, makes ready for new residents, and maintains grounds and common areas.

The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local licenses as applicable, and a valid driver’s license. It offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling are required.
• Certifications as required by state and local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate on-property vehicles (golf cart).

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Perform make-ready tasks to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins.
• Track inventory and coordinate with maintenance supervisor for re-orders.
• Document and file service records promptly and accurately.
• Assist in grounds, common areas, and amenities maintenance including cleaning and painting.
• Contribute to cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.
