Job summary

Straight and Narrow in Paterson, NJ, seeks a Residential Life Associate (Full-Time) to supervise clients in a structured treatment environment and conduct 30-minute rounds. The role supports daily routines aligned with treatment goals, with shifts including 8:00am-4:00pm, 4:00pm-12:00am, and 12:00am-8:00am.

You will document client behavior in EHR, collaborate with clinical, medical, and administrative teams, and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with experience in social service or health fields.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and support to clients at all times.
• Maintain high visibility in client areas to provide structure and supervision.
• Document client behavior and rounds using the EHR system in accordance with policies.
• Ensure a clean and orderly facility and follow shift schedules.
• Engage with clients to reinforce coping skills and support treatment goals.
