Job summary

Straight and Narrow, headquartered in Paterson, NJ, seeks a Residential Life-Shift Leader to oversee on-site operations at treatment facilities and community programs. You will lead staff, ensure safety, support treatment engagement, and coordinate with clinical teams during shifts.

This awake role requires crisis intervention skills, documentation in EHR, and adherence to policies. A valid NJ driver’s license and CPR/First Aid are needed. Salary reflects 40-hour weeks and local pay scales.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with EHR software.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in NJ.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, structured, therapeutic environment during shifts.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
• Coordinate with clinical, medical and administrative teams for continuity of care.
• Supervise RL Associates and assign tasks to ensure shift goals are met.
• Document incidents, client rounds and daily operational reports in the EHR.
