Job summary

Straight and Narrow seeks a Residential Life Associate to supervise clients in a structured treatment setting. The role includes 30-minute safety/wellness rounds, documenting observations, and supporting daily routines in collaboration with clinical teams.

The position supports residents in Passaic/Paterson/Secaucus, with shifts from 8:00am-4:00pm, 4:00pm-12:00am, and 12:00am-8:00am. This awake role requires vigilance, compassion, and a commitment to a safe therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in social services or health field preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days from hire.
• Computer skills and knowledge of EHR systems required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and support to clients at all times.
• Maintain high visibility in client areas to provide structure and supervision.
• Document client rounds every 30 minutes and verify roster.
• Escort and transport clients using agency vehicles as assigned.
• Ensure documentation is included in the client’s chart or EHR.
