Job summary

Straight and Narrow, headquartered in Paterson, NJ, seeks a part-time Residential Life Associate to supervise clients in a structured treatment setting. You will conduct 30-minute rounds, document client behavior in EHR, and help maintain a safe, clean environment in collaboration with the clinical and administrative teams.

Responsibilities include supervising clients, enforcing schedules, assisting with housekeeping, and supporting recovery-oriented activities while remaining awake on shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; experience in social/health field preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire is required or obtainable.
• Must have a valid New Jersey driver’s license with acceptable points.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and support to clients at all times.
• Maintain high visibility in client areas to provide structure and supervision.
• Assist with safety and cleanliness of the facility and daily routines.
• Follow established schedules to help clients attain internal structure.
• Document client behavior using EHR in compliance with policies.
