Job summary

The Straight and Narrow organization in Paterson, NJ is seeking a Residential Life Associate (Per Diem) to supervise clients in a structured treatment environment and halfway house. The role requires maintaining daily routine, safety checks, and collaboration with clinical and administrative teams to support recovery goals.

Responsibilities include ensuring a clean, safe environment, documenting client behavior in the EHR, and adhering to shift schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with experience in social services or health field.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Valid New Jersey driver's license with limited points.
• Working towards CADC/Recovery Specialist credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and support to clients at all times.
• Maintain high visibility to provide structure and supervision in all areas.
• Document client behaviors and rounds every 30 minutes.
• Escort and monitor clients between units and facilities as required.
• Transport clients to appointments using agency vehicles when needed.
• Ensure documentation is included in the client's EHR and charts.
