Straight and Narrow in Paterson, NJ, seeks a Residential Life-Shift Leader to provide on-site leadership across residential and outpatient programs. The role monitors safety, ensures structured environments, and supports treatment engagement during shifts.

The position requires crisis intervention skills and coordination with clinical teams. The role is full-time, rotating shifts, with a salary aligned to the responsibilities and the agency’s standards for 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience within a residential or clinical setting.
• CPR/First Aid certification or equivalent within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license with NJ driving rights and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, disciplined, and caring environment for clients on shift.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
• Document incidents and client rounds in the EHR system.
• Assign and supervise RL Associates, cover shifts as needed.
• Coordinate with medical, clinical, and administrative teams for continuity of care.
• Oversee daily tasks and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Assist in program operations and ensure schedule adherence.
