Job summary

Invitation Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform high‑quality maintenance in single‑family rental homes while delivering outstanding customer service. You will handle multiple trades, educate residents on home systems, and pursue proactive upkeep.

ProCare visits and regular property assessments are part of the role. Requirements include a high school diploma, 2–5+ years in residential maintenance, OSHA 10, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5+ years’ proven experience in residential repairs and maintenance.
• OSHA 10 required; certificate can be completed within 90 days for new hires.
• EPA/HVAC/CPO certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests across multiple trades.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote a quality living experience.
• Perform work while respecting residents’ homes and property.
• Conduct ProCare visits using the mobile app and schedule next visits.
• Educate residents on maintenance topics and home systems.
• Repair in vacant properties during turnover and market readiness.
• Utilize tools, materials, and company vehicles properly.
• Review upcoming day’s appointments to ensure one-visit completion.
