Job summary

D.R. Horton is seeking a Superintendent I to lead the construction and timely completion of multiple homes. You will schedule and supervise subcontractors, conduct homeowner walkthroughs, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and budget goals.

The role requires coordinating across teams to meet schedule milestones and maintain a high standard of workmanship. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience reading construction plans, and a proven track record in

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED with related construction experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple homes and schedules.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and permitting processes.
• Ability to read construction documents and plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction schedule and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Schedule subcontractors and supervise their work for quality and compliance.
• Oversee homeowner walk-throughs and inspections throughout construction.
• Maintain safety programs and enforce OSHA requirements on site.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and clear communication with stakeholders.
