Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to manage multiple homes from permit to closing. You will schedule trades, supervise subcontractors, conduct homeowner walkthroughs, and ensure safety standards while delivering quality homes on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will coordinate schedules, monitor budgets, ensure code compliance, and maintain clear communication with sales and management to support a high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years related experience in construction or superintendent role.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specs.
• Proficiency with MS Office and construction software.
• Strong communication with customers and teams; manage budgets and schedules.
• Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license to travel between communities.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction schedule and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate subcontractors and inspect workmanship for quality and code compliance.
• Oversee post-close warranty processes and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and site appearance across communities.
• Communicate progress with sales, warranty, and management teams.
