Astound is hiring a Broadband Technician I in Pennsylvania to perform residential installs/disconnects and ensure correct RF levels on customer premises. You will communicate with dispatch, educate customers on services, and drive a company vehicle safely.

The role requires a high school diploma, entry-level experience, and strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Benefits are offered; base pay is hourly with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 0 (Entry Level).
• Maintain satisfactory driving record and have a valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of Ladder and Hand/Power Tools.
• Customer service experience valued.
• Strong communication and written skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Aptitude to learn new skills.
• Problem solving abilities.
• Time management skills.
• Teamwork and ability to work alone.

Responsibilities

• Performs residential installs and disconnects on customer premises per standards and specs.
• Ensure correct RF and signal levels before completion to minimize callbacks and trips.
• Maintain communication with leadership and dispatch to sustain productive routes.
• Educate customers on products, services, and upsell opportunities.
• Operate company vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Other duties as assigned.
