Astound is seeking an entry-level Broadband Technician I to perform residential installs and disconnects, ensuring quality RF levels and a positive customer experience. You will communicate with leadership, educate customers, and operate company vehicles safely on assigned routes.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 0 (Entry Level).
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Knowledge of ladder and hand/power tools.
• Customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Aptitude to learn new skills.
• Strong problem solving and time management.
• Ability to work in a team and alone.

Responsibilities

• Performs residential installs and disconnects on customer premises according to standards and specs.
• Ensure RF and signal levels meet specifications to minimize callbacks.
• Maintain communication with leadership and dispatch to sustain productive routes.
• Educate customers on products/services and upsell opportunities to improve satisfaction.
• Operate company vehicle safely and professionally.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.
