Job summary

Kairoi Residential is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and support our multifamily community in Houston. You will respond to resident requests, prepare vacant units, and assist with maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.

A strong customer-service mindset and proactive problem-solving are essential. You will troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and help keep common areas and amenities well-maintained.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of apartment/home repair experience including carpentry, plumbing and electrical work.
• EPA and HVAC certifications required or willingness to obtain them.
• OSHA safety rules knowledge and commitment to safety.
• Excellent customer service and resident-focused attitude.
• Flex schedule and on-call availability for emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record in last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry.
• Perform repairs and replacements to resolve issues efficiently.
• Communicate progress and estimated completion times to residents.
• Assist make-ready process for vacant apartments.
• Maintain community appearance and common areas.
• Conduct routine inspections and report safety concerns to Service Manager.
• Organize and inventory maintenance equipment and supplies.
