Job summary

Kairoi Residential in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the upkeep and functionality of a multifamily community. You will respond to resident service requests, prepare vacant apartments, and assist with various maintenance tasks across the property.

You will troubleshoot and repair appliances, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of apartment home repair experience including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• EPA and HVAC certifications or willingness to obtain them.
• OSHA safety rules knowledge.
• Excellent customer service and resident-focused approach.
• Flex schedule and on-call for emergencies.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry).
• Perform repairs and replacements to resolve issues efficiently.
• Communicate progress and estimated completion times to residents.
• Assist in make-ready process for vacant apartments.
• Maintain clean, functional common areas and amenities.
• Inspect property for safety and maintenance concerns.
• Report issues to Service Manager for resolution.
• Organize and inventory maintenance equipment and supplies.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotations.
