Job summary

Kairoi Residential is seeking a Service Technician to maintain our multifamily community. You will respond to resident service requests, prepare vacant apartments for new residents, and assist with various maintenance tasks across the property.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in apartment home repair (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mech/equipment repairs).
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
• EPA and HVAC certifications, or willingness to obtain them, required.
• OSHA safety rules knowledge.
• Excellent customer service focused mentality.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry).
• Perform repairs and replacements to resolve issues efficiently.
• Communicate progress and estimated completion times to residents.
• Assist in make-ready process for vacant apartments, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
• Maintain appearance of grounds, common areas, and amenities.
• Inspect property regularly for maintenance or safety concerns.
• Report issues to Service Manager for prompt resolution.
• Organize and inventory maintenance equipment and supplies.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hour emergencies.
