Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator to assist residents in accessing local services, coordinating community activities, and supporting overall housing program goals. The role focuses on referrals, outreach, and collaboration with property management to sustain residents’ housing and quality of life.

You will engage with residents, organize services, and track outcomes to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Willingness to undergo background and drug tests.
• Enthusiasm in working with people.
• Experience with community organizing or quick to learn social services systems.
• Knowledge of daily realities for low-income families.
• Background in affordable housing programs is a plus.
• Strong Verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Welcome new residents and explain the resident services program.
• Develop and maintain referral partnerships with local service agencies.
• Provide linkage between residents and referral staff.
• Assist in preventing eviction by offering linkage and referral support.
• Track program targets and report outcomes to stakeholders.
• Analyze outcomes data for program improvement.
• Identify resident needs and connect to resources.
• Facilitate resident meetings and community activities.
• Build relationships to promote self-sufficiency.
• Organize volunteers and oversee community resources.
• Maintain Resource Center and related facilities.
