Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Community Manager to protect, maintain, and enhance the resident community while coordinating leasing, maintenance, security, and resident services for an optimal living experience.

You will lead on-site teams, manage cash flow, analyze monthly statements, ensure lease data accuracy, and liaise across departments to meet goals. Strong communication and independent leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years’ experience in property management.
• Strong knowledge of leasing, marketing, construction, residential law and resident relations.
• Experience with property management software; Entrata preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google platforms.
• Ability to analyze monthly financial statements and prepare budgets/forecasts.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Independent worker with leadership capability and team collaboration.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy in work.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude with team members, residents, clients, and the public.
• Strive for improvements to meet or exceed annual financial and operational goals.
• Direct day-to-day activities of loss prevention, risk management, safety/security, maintenance, marketing, leasing and upkeep.
• Develop income by managing cash flow and leasing strategy.
• Analyze monthly financial statements and variances from budget; plan receivables actions.
• Maintain complete community files and input lease data into management software.
• Coordinate collection and documentation of all revenues per lease obligations.
• Engage, contract, supervise and approve invoices for goods/services.
• Lead on-site maintenance, office staff and leasing team.
• Manage resident relations on repairs, rents, leases, and concerns.
• Participate in Cardinal U training as required.
