Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Forest Glen multifamily community in Austell, GA. This on-site role supports residents with make-ready apartments, responsive service, and quality, friendly customer care.

You’ll handle plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep while maintaining safety and a positive resident experience. On-call duties may apply; a valid driver’s license and EPA 608 Type II certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade/vocational training preferred.
• 1+ year of related maintenance experience.
• Ability to read instructions and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning and general repairs.
• Respond to resident requests promptly with a professional attitude.
• Perform maintenance tasks in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting and snow removal.
• Maintain grounds, pools, and common areas to keep them clean and safe.
• On-call for after-hours emergencies may be required.
• Ensure safety procedures and report maintenance issues to supervisor.
