Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a multifamily property. The technician will handle make-ready apartments, respond to resident requests, and support ongoing building maintenance to ensure high resident satisfaction.

The role requires knowledge in plumbing, HVAC, electrical basics, carpentry, painting, and safety procedures. On-call availability and travel between properties may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of maintenance functions (plumbing, HVAC, basic electric, carpentry, painting) and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments with painting, cleaning, and basic repairs.
• Respond to resident requests promptly and professionally.
• Support maintenance operations and attend to after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Maintain grounds, pools, common areas, and amenities to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Report maintenance concerns to supervisor and perform scheduled maintenance tasks.
