Job summary

Liberty Military Housing is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional service to prospective and current residents in a multi-family community in Norfolk, VA. The role involves answering phones, handling service requests, and guiding residents through move-in and move-out processes.

You will coordinate lease documents, address complaints, and work with maintenance to ensure timely service. A positive, professional demeanor and flexible schedule are essential.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ of residential property management or customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Word, Excel, and other software applications (e.g. Yardi, Payscan).
• Effective communication and interaction with customers, vendors, management, and co-workers; able to exchange information and give/receive work direction.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritize and complete duties to meet objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assists prospective residents with lease, community information, and move-in process.
• Prepares lease documents for residents as part of move-in (pets, allotments, etc.).
• Responds to and manages resident complaints or service issues and coordinates with staff to resolve concerns.
• Supports residents during move-out, including notice to vacate and transfers.
• Manages the lease process and provides information about community and resident services.
• Performs post-turn unit inspections and move-in inventories with new residents.
• Follows up with residents on work orders and service requests.
