Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Assistant Community Manager in Mesa, Arizona to support daily financial operations, maintain accurate records, and ensure lease compliance. You will work with the community team to maximize occupancy and revenue while delivering excellent resident service.

The role requires knowledge of property management software (Yardi, OneSite, Entrata) and 1–3 years of related experience. A valid driver's license and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily financial operations for the community, including rent collection, deposits, and reconciliations.
• Operates property management software (Yardi/OneSite) and ensures data accuracy.
• Reviews resident files to identify unpaid or late fees and enforces lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Reviews invoices from vendors and coordinates payments with management and owners.
• Follows eviction procedures as required and handles move-outs per policy.
• Promotes resident satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Supports on-site supervision in the community manager's absence and coordinates maintenance tasks.
• Assists in leasing and marketing by greeting prospective residents and processing applications.
