Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support daily operations of our apartment communities in Jacksonville. You will aid leasing, handle resident relations, and perform financial tasks including rent collection and renewals.

You will partner with the Community Manager, lead by example, and help the team thrive. Responsibilities include leasing tours, responding to inquiries, processing applications, and maintaining a positive, well-operated community.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of property management experience preferred; six months as assistant manager preferred.
• Valid driver's license; CALP accreditation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support leasing efforts by conducting tours, responding to leads, and guiding prospects through the leasing process.
• Identify prospect needs, showcase available homes, and invite them to join the community.
• Ensure lease applications, renewals and related documents are completed accurately and on time.
• Meet occupancy goals through leasing performance and resident retention.
• Create and manage content for social media highlighting resident events and engagement.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment in the office and common areas.

Education

High School or GED equivalent

Two years of property management experience is preferred

Six months previous assistant community manager experience is preferred
