Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support leasing, resident relations, and day-to-day financial tasks under the Community Manager. You will assist with tours, respond to leads, and guide prospects through the leasing process.

As part of the team, you’ll ensure accurate applications and renewals, maintain a welcoming environment, and help the community thrive while collaborating with colleagues and delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Two years of property management experience preferred.
• Six months as an assistant community manager preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• CALP accreditation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist leasing by conducting tours and guiding prospects through the leasing process.
• Process lease applications, renewals, and related documents accurately and on time.
• Oversee rent collection, check scanning, and payment posting.
• Support a leadership role in the absence of the Community Manager.
• Respond to resident concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming office and community spaces.
