Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for Mezza Premier Apartments in Jacksonville, FL. The role blends leasing, financial administration, and team leadership to maintain resident satisfaction and occupancy.

You’ll conduct tours, process applications, support renewals, and help with social media promotion. Financial duties include rent collection, ledger reviews, and reporting to leadership. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of property management experience preferred.
• Six months in an assistant community manager role preferred.
• Weekend availability required (Saturdays, 10 AM to 4 PM); schedule is 40 hours weekly with one weekday off.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CALP designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tours and respond to incoming leads; guide applications through to completion.
• Support renewal efforts to protect occupancy and drive renewals.
• Create social media content for the community to drive traffic and highlight resident engagement.
• Handle rent collection workflows, including payment posting and check scanning; monitor delinquency and follow up.
• Assist with financial reporting to Community Manager and regional leadership; flag discrepancies in basic financial reports.
• Step into continuity leadership when the Community Manager is out to maintain resident experience.
