Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in Springfield, IL is seeking a part-time Concierge to welcome residents and visitors, coordinate communications, and support daily operations. The role includes front desk responsibilities, clerical tasks, and helping with resident needs and event reservations.

The Concierge reports to the Executive Director, contributing to a safe and pleasant community environment and ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction through attentive service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a senior living facility, healthcare, hospitality, or similar setting preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in common digital tools including Microsoft Office and web-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Welcome residents, visitors, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Monitor entry/exit points and sign in guests and residents.
• Assist with clerical/administrative duties for the Executive Director and Business Office Manager.
• Assist residents with scheduling personal transportation and event reservations.
• Process guest meal sales and handle related transactions when needed.
• Submit work order requests to Maintenance and monitor safety systems.
