Job summary

Avanath Capital Management is seeking a Property Manager to oversee a community with a focus on resident satisfaction, financial performance, and staff leadership. You will manage budgets, leasing goals, and on-site operations while maintaining compliance and high service standards.

The role emphasizes professional presentation, strong communication, and collaboration with partners to deliver excellent resident experiences and community outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in the property management industry.
• 2+ years of experience as a community/property manager.
• Demonstrated ability to diffuse and respond to resident concerns, avoiding escalation.
• Proven effective and efficient leadership experience.
• Knowledge of LIHTC and Tax Credit qualifications required.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Familiarity and ability with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet, and email

Responsibilities

• Resident relations and customer service throughout the resident life-cycle.
• Manage budgets, rent rolls, projections, and occupancy goals.
• Oversee on-site operations and staff schedules.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and property regulations.
• Maintain confidential files for residents and manage retention programs.
• Respond to resident concerns and elevate issues to senior leadership as needed.
