Avanath Capital is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support leasing, rent processing, marketing, and daily operations across our properties. You will help drive resident satisfaction, manage accounts, and assist leadership in maintaining compliant, well-run communities.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and strong organization, with a focus on fair housing compliance and professional interaction with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as an Assistant Community Manager.
• LIHTC/Tax Credit Program Knowledge required.
• Excellent communication skills and dedication to customer service.
• Solid bookkeeping and rent collection experience.
• Understanding of landlord/tenant law and Fair Housing laws.
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability.
• Resourceful and organized with computer proficiency.
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leasing and resident relations, including tours and walk-ins.
• Handle rent processing, collections, and deposits.
• Support reporting, make-ready apartments, and monthly projections.
• Maintain compliance files and enforce lease terms and Fair Housing guidelines.
• Oversee property operations in Community Manager’s absence and support staff.
