Job summary

Avanath Capital Management, LLC is seeking a community/property manager to oversee a residential property with a focus on balancing resident satisfaction and financial performance. The role emphasizes leadership, compliance, and proactive engagement to deliver an exceptional living experience.

Responsibilities include budgeting, rent rolls, lease administration, vendor coordination, capital projects, and staff supervision, while ensuring Fair Housing compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in the property management industry.
• 2+ years of experience as a community/property manager.
• Demonstrated ability to diffuse and respond to resident concerns, avoiding escalation.
• Proven effective and efficient leadership experience.
• Knowledge of LIHTC and Tax Credit qualifications required.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Capacity to interact effectively with senior executives.
• Ability to work well under time and other constraints.
• Professional presentation and appearance.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet and email

Responsibilities

• Manage resident relations and customer service to ensure positive experiences across the resident life-cycle.
• Oversee budgets, rent rolls, projections and occupancy goals.
• Coordinate staff schedules and on-site operations for maximum efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA and all relevant laws.
• Lead and develop on-site teams; monitor performance and give feedback.
• Oversee vendor relationships, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Communicate with regional management and owners about community performance.
