Job summary

Avanath Capital Management, LLC is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a Virginia Cascades community, ensuring resident satisfaction and profitable operations. The role requires strong leadership, budget oversight, and regulatory compliance to deliver excellent service to residents and owners.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in property management, 2+ years in a community/manager role, and solid communication skills to liaise with residents, staff, and executives.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in the property management industry.
• 2+ years of experience as a community/property manager.
• Knowledge of LIHTC and Tax Credit qualifications required.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Capacity to interact effectively with senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Manage resident relations and customer service across the community life cycle.
• Oversee budgeting, rent rolls, projections, and occupancy goals.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and regulations.
• Lead on-site operations, vendor relationships, and maintenance oversight.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and operating budgets.
