Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Resident Experience Specialist to enhance living experiences for residents, coordinate campus programming, and support leasing activities under the Community Management team.

You will lead resident events, assist with communications, and ensure service requests are tracked and resolved. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, proactive issue resolution, and strong collaboration with maintenance and management staff in Richardson, TX.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently.
• Professionalism and problem-solving abilities.
• Must have an active and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Encourage resident retention and strengthen community life through events.
• Coordinate and participate in resident programming as determined by CM/ACM.
• Develop a monthly community newsletter.
• Attend functions, council meetings, and staff meetings.
• Serve as On-Duty RES, provide after-hours on-call service.
• Perform rounds at specified times to ensure community safety.
• Provide superior customer service and appropriate resident referrals.
• Communicate with residents via in-person, phone, mail, and digital channels.
• Assist with leasing efforts: tours, paperwork, marketing, and scheduling.
• Support outreach marketing and housing fairs, orientations, etc.
• Maintain resident and prospect files; conduct regular inspections.
• Record and communicate service requests to maintenance; follow up on calls.
• Participate in turn operations by performing minor maintenance repairs.
