Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility.
• Assist with moving and transferring residents into and out of bed, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts.
• Communicate incident reports and observed changes in resident condition to a supervisor.
• Assist residents to walk with or without self-help devices as instructed.
• Encourage residents to socialize and participate in scheduled activities and outings.
