Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.
• Knowledge of resident privacy and confidentiality is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and mobility.
• Move and transfer residents using safe techniques and equipment.
• Communicate observations and incident information to a supervisor promptly.
• Encourage socialization and participation in activities and outings.
• Respond promptly to resident alerts, needs, and requests for care.
