Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a caring Caregiver to provide routine daily care to residents in a respectful manner according to individual care plans. You will assist with ADLs, mobility, and activities, while maintaining resident dignity and safety.

Responsibilities include communicating changes to supervisors, adhering to infection control practices, and supporting residents’ social engagement in a supportive community setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
• Deal tactfully with residents, family members, and staff.
• Capable of working with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, residents, and families.
• Maintain confidentiality to protect resident privacy.
• Knowledge of facility EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility.
• Assist with moving and transferring residents using proper techniques.
• Report incident or change in resident condition to a supervisor promptly.
• Encourage participation in activities and outings and assist as needed.
• Respond promptly to resident alerts and requests for care.
• Observe and report changes in emotional condition to the nurse.
• Follow infection control practices and safety procedures.
