Job summary

PACS seeks a Licensed CNA to provide routine daily nursing care and support to residents in accordance with care plans. The role involves initial identification of residents, documenting care, and reporting changes to nursing supervisors.

You will assist with daily activities, ensure comfort, and help with transfers and tests. The position requires CNA certification, the ability to read and write care documentation, and a commitment to resident confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state laws.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and procedures.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information to managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments using wristband or photo ID.
• Record entries clearly on flow sheets and charts.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Escort residents to rooms and assist during transfers.
• Prepare residents for medical tests.
