Job summary

PACS is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with assessment and care plans. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor residents, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment.

You will document care, report changes to the Nurse Supervisor, follow infection control and confidentiality policies, and coordinate with the nursing team to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions.
• Math skills to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments using wristbands or IDs.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, and charts clearly.
• Report changes in residents’ condition to the Nurse Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and transfers.
• Follow policies on exposure to blood, body fluids, and infections.
• Prepare residents for medical tests as needed.
