Job summary

PACS is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with each resident’s care plan. You will identify residents, record observations, and maintain safe, compassionate care in a supportive unit environment.

The role requires a valid CNA license, CPR preferred, and completion of a 10th grade education or higher. You will work closely with nursing staff to ensure quality resident care and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and resident records.
• Ability to write reports, notes, and procedures clearly.
• Ability to present information effectively to managers and colleagues.
• Comfort with basic math for measurements and dosing
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills are essential for resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care per resident care plans.
• Identify residents using wristbands or photo IDs before procedures.
• Record entries accurately in flow sheets and charts.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information and report breaches.
