Job summary

PACS is seeking a Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care under supervision, following each resident's assessment and care plan. You will document care, monitor residents, assist with meals, hygiene, mobility, and transport as needed, while following care plans and policies.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to communicate with the care team, and a commitment to resident dignity and privacy.

Qualifications

• Reading comprehension: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Written communication: Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Presentation: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
• Math and reasoning: Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments and rounds; ensure privacy and safety.
• Record entries accurately on flow sheets, notes, and charts.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information and report any disclosures.
• Assist with daily resident care tasks (oral care, bathing, grooming, feeding) and mobility.
