Job summary

PACS is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care per care plans. You will identify residents, assist with daily tasks, document care, and report changes to supervisors in a timely manner.

The role requires a valid CNA license, ability to follow policies on patient confidentiality, and willingness to assist with transfers and tests as needed. CPR is preferred and experience in long-term care is valued.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, an 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state.
• CPR Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments using wristband or photo card.
• Record entries on flow sheets and charts in an informative, descriptive manner.
• Report changes in resident condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information, including protected health information.
• Assist residents with daily functions (dental care, bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Follow established policies concerning exposure to blood/body fluids and safety protocols.
• Prepare residents for medical tests and assist with transfers and positioning.
