Job summary

PACS is seeking a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents in accordance with their care plans and supervisor directions. You will identify residents, document care, report changes in condition, and maintain a respectful, safe environment.

The role emphasizes strict adherence to care procedures, proper documentation, and collaboration with nursing staff to support resident well‑being and comfort on a scheduled shift.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state.
• CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments, serving meals, etc.
• Follow authorized abbreviations when recording information.
• Report changes in the resident’s condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative manner.
• Report accidents and incidents observed during the shift.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information including protected health information.
• Follow policies concerning exposure to blood/body fluids and report violations.
• Provide daily nursing care and services per the resident’s assessment and care plan.
