Job summary

KNAPP is seeking a Resident Maintenance Technician in the United States to provide first-class maintenance support for automated storage and retrieval systems at customer locations. You will apply electrical/mechanical expertise, perform fault diagnosis, and contribute to maximizing equipment utilization while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in engineering, 0–3 years in repairs of automated machinery, and hands-on experience with PLC-based

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0-3 years direct experience in repairs on machinery systems (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
• Experience with PLC-based machinery, highly automated and robotic equipment.
• Ability to read assembly drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Rectify electro-mechanical faults and provide specialist maintenance support.
• Respond to emergency calls from Customer and document actions.
• Set up and calibrate precision automation equipment.
• Train customer-maintenance teams as required.
• Adhere to safety and quality procedures; maintain effective communication.
